Lloydminster and District United Way is in the heart of their campaign.
Tools for Schools is a program where individuals in Lloydminster can donate school supplies. The campaign for school supplies was very successful. A Huge Thanks to Staples, and Staff at Princess Auto. If you know of any student who needs school supplies - contact their teacher or the school principal.

"Representatives from Staples and the Lloydminster & District United Way stand infront of a portion of the $4500 worth of school supplies that were donated by the community through donations made at the Lloydminster Staples store....The United Way Tools for School Program volunteers distributed the supplies to the Catholic and Public School Divisions."
October 1, 2008 - The United Way Flag was raised at City Hall. Mayor Ken Baker and Representatives from United Way and Member Agencies were in attendance.

Our Banner flies over 50th Street for the month of October.
Our Kickoff Pancake Breakfast was held on October 1 at Cafe Mocha in the Atrium Centre. A Huge THANK YOU to Cafe Mocha. Thanks to all that support our breakfast - $680.00 was raised.
CIBC/United Way Treasure Chest happened again this year. Schools and children were encouraged to participate bringing their loose coins to their schools. On October 22 between 2 and 4 pm, the CIBC bank accepted the coins and filled the "treasure chest". Many schools participated.
Students from Bishop Lloyd School receive their certificate for particpating in the Treasure Chest.
Cheryl Klatt, CIBC Lloydminster Branch Manager, presents a cheque for $5018.92 to Colleen Fulton, Lloydminster & District United Way Campaign Chair. These funds were raised by local students through the Treasure Chest coin donation fundraiser. CIBC staff have counted and rolled coin for this fundraiser for many, many years. Since 1992, over $45,000 has been raised for the United Way through this fundraiser.
Our Mailers were delivered to every residence and business in Lloydminster and surrounding communities. Please take time to look at the programs that are funded by United Way in Lloydminster and consider making a contribution to United Way.
